If I had not seen it and hear it with my own eyes and ears, I would have believed it . It what I and many suspected all along.

Vern Lunquist and Gary Danielson laughing and joking about LSU not being able to win a game on CBS . Am I the only one who noticed these 2 morons having a great time rubbing LSU Fans, and supporters noses in the fact that LSU has not won a game on CBS this season? And taking time during the broadcast
To point out this seasons disasters brought on by day games on CBS.

This is why I despise CBS Network Sports and their stupid , bias TV stooges. To Hell with Vern LUNQUIST and his queer [sidekick) Gary Danielson . Anything connected with CBS is BAD.

Danielson knows football but his gig as analyst seems to have gotten old for him. He seems bored and fed up. Most of it probably has to do with Lundquist.

Lundquist is 140 years old and seems to get every player and everything wrong. Danielson spends half of his time correcting him.

CBS just doesn't have the balls to fire them even though they are well past due.

    1. Step away from the computer.
    2. Take a deep breath or two.
    3. Maybe go outside and enjoy the weather for a moment.

    It's going to be okay.

LSU appeared on CBS seven times last season and that worked out rather well.

What did they say that was really so bad? Having not actually hearing or seeing this for myself I can say this: they were commenting on the game and this year's LSU team; which is their job as commentators. It was probably just mindless banter.

I personally have mixed feelings about CBS airing Tiger games. Since I live in Texas now being on CBS ensures my ability to catch them on the tube. Although the Big 12 has been pretty good, LSU and SEC football will always rule!!!

However, all these darn day games are really starting to give me the REDS if you know what I mean.:angryfire I usually make a few trips to BR each year to take my 9yr old son tailgating and to the games. This year we only made 2 games. Oh well I guess that's the way it goes sometimes. Hopefully next year we'll have more than one SEC night game at Tiger Stadium!:geaux: :crystal::crystal::crystal:

It's great to be able to watch most of the games on TV.. That said, though, the coverage on CBS is getting old... Time for Verne to hang up the mic; Danileson may know football, but is a bit too biased for my liking. Would rather see most of our home SEC games at night where they belong.

Danielson played a not-so-insignificant role in me sitting in the student section yesterday. :hihi: He's an excellent X's & O's guy, but even going back to last season he does seem to have his biases. The Florida game last year when Tebow was hit before going out of bounds, Danielson went ballistic about our players taking an intentional shot at his knee when the replay showed it clearly wasn't the case and never corrected himself. On Trindon's TD kickoff return against Ole Miss last year he actually said on the replay "Is there a hold there? There usually is a hold, but if it's not called it's not called."

A friend of mine made a good observation that the quality of CFB announcing pales in comparison to what it is in the NFL. When is the last time you turned on an NFL game and heard these kind of snide little comments from a color commentator? (MNF doesn't count as real commentating these days, sorry.) For example, I'm a big fan of Troy Aikman as a commentator, because whenever I watch him break down a play I learn something new about the game, and he never demonstrates any kind of bias even when he works Cowboys games. These guys are a million times more professional than what I usually see out of Lundquist/Danielson.

I agree, usually when I find out that a Bama game is on CBS I just mute the t.v and turn on the radio!

This has been the worst season ever for me personally to be a season ticket holder. It's not because we have no QB and our secondary is clueless...it's due to CBS.

I want to bring a slingshot to the game and nail the little guy with the red hat who stops the game every thirty seconds for more commercials. What really gripes me is when the players take the field to start the second half and have to stand there several minutes until Mr. Red Hat gives the signal.

What's the damn problem CBS? Thirty minutes of commercials and crappy announcing at halftime not enough for you? You have to cram several more minutes of commercials down everyone's throat?

I understand the television rights, money, etc. but there needs to be a limit on these day games. They suck...commercials suck...and topping the list...CBS SUCKS!!!
