Sounds like a long couple of months for this kid at school.

Its one thing to come to LSU because your heart isnt in it bla bla bla. But at least handle the situation with a little class. To have the father running around saying your still solid to LSU and than for this kid to not even call the coaches and tell them hes not coming shows what type of people this kid and his father are. What was the motive for playing games lastnight? Hes the last one to commit, I understand waiting to make your announcement but why did the father need to run around making statements like that? O well, I guess only they will know, but like said earlier in the thread Karma will get them.

Well if he's serious about safety it's probably best he go to a Tampa 2 scheme. From all accounts, he won't be bulking up to 205-210 anytime soon to play safety the way most teams in the SEC and even in the NFL like their safeties. Tampa 2 safeties need better cover skills as opposed to being big hitters and the last line of defense. Not saying the Cover 2 safeties don't lay the hat (John Lynch for example), but fear isn't really a necessity.

I just hope he realizes how much he's limiting himself skill wise. You see what happens when a Cover 2 corner tries to switch to man (Jason David and Nick Harper leaving Indy for instance). They're not as effective. So I guess now he just needs to hope he gets drafted by Tampa Bay (if they're keeping they're scheme with Kiffin gone), Chicago, or Indianapolis...not sure if any other teams employ that defense, but I know those three do.

Can't help but be glad that he was booed. If he hadn't led LSU on like that, I wouldn't like it. But he absolutely deserved it. And he'd better get used to it, because he'll be hearing a lot of it when this powder keg at UT blows up in everyone's faces.

Can't wait to see Randle take this kid to school.

CB Tony Hurd will fill his spot and will do just fine. Definitely one of the Top DBs next year

Man we got scummed. Best of luck to him in the east.. but I can't wait till Shep gets to make him look silly when he's the last one between Shep and a touchdown.

Don't know about the rest of you folks, but I'm now going to return to my regularly scheduled life.

Sort of glad this show is over for now.
