From Port Arthur, Texas gave a soft verbal to Nebraska today. However, he said he would consider future options as they came and he specifically mentioned that he hopes to get an offer from LSU. His father played 6 seasons in the NFL and won a Superbowl in 1990 with the Giants. Are we going to offer this kid?
Doesn't look like he's got a lot of offers right now. If we offer him, it probably wouldn't be till later in the process. We're recruiting some pretty talented CBs right now and the coaches are probably going to want to see him in camp/film from his Sr year. I don't think that CB is that big of a need in this class that we would offer someone just to fill the spot. Unless the coaches are honestly impressed with him, he won't get an offer.
