O was probably just trying to steal one from the gumps, if we have him they don't. Brennon is a young man trying to map his future and he may have had a knee jerk reaction. Will see what happens come signing day, you know it's always good to fill the barn so offer all the top guys you can.
That's really the worst of it...even if Ed wanted Kiffin or Tua, it's a risk, a bad one at that, to lose a commit of that caliber at a position of need. At the end of the day, it seems the cloud of dust wasn't worth getting Brennan's backside.
You've had a bad fucking feeling since O was announced. Take a shot of Whiskey and chill the fuck out for a bit.
Nah the bad feeling was on the hiring process. The usual lsu shit show from the administration. It was so expected theres no freak out. Unless it keeps going in the wrong direction.
more of the same.........LSU needed to break clean from the Miles era and didn't.....this has a 7 years of bad luck look to it
I know you didn't say it, but you damn sure implied it in my mind. You don't want O as the HC. Fine. I get it. Aim your venom at Alleva & the BOS.
O's past as a head coach concerns me--though it was a long time ago. There were clearly things that our team improved on after O took over. There was energy and crisper execution most of the time. I liked that. However, there was a lack of off-the-field discipline. During the Missouri game, we almost had a bench-clearing brawl before halftime. LF was taking selfies with fans during the Arkansas game. Our players ran their mouths incessantly leading up to the Florida game (and in fact, they were running their mouths about beating Alabama, too.). And then there was that ridiculous "fight" before the Florida game without us backing it up with our play on the field. I don't wish to become old-school Miami. And, now, there is the Brennan/Tua drama, which I also don't care for. I am concerned, and Alleva and the BOS are morons.
