Catastrophe Syndrome

I feel the exact opposite of Catastrophy Syndrome. I truly believe we will be better. Not sure if we will win the SEC yet, but better than we have been over the last 3 or 4 years for damn sure. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

 

It was time for Les to go. It was.

But on TOS just now, I was reading people saying that they'd be "happy" if O can average 9 wins a year. Well, shit on a shingle...Miles did THAT.

This coaching "search" was a joke. I hope that I'm proven wrong about this, by the way. But as I said, this doesn't feel right at this point in time.

 

If we don't win the SEC, then we're really not better, though. It is what it is. We must begin to beat Bama, and we must win the freakin' SEC West. Anything short of that is going to be a disappointment.

And for the record, at the end of last season (and the year before actually), I said that Miles absolutely had to win the West, or I couldn't support him anymore.

The same goes for O.

 

Got the same feeling, hoping for the best but expecting the worse! Hope they prove me wrong.

 

I should've been more specific. I will be content, bring realistic and all, if we win 10+ every year and make the playoffs at least once every 3 years. I believe we can do that with O

 

Maybe we can see if we can get a few more years out of Brent Schaffer.

 

I don't like waiting that long.

Ok, to put a negative spin on even that, FKing A and the BOS would pick his replacement. That's a little cringeworthy.

The Miles slogan lives - maybe next year! Of course, by the end of his run as long as he was the head of the ship, I couldn't even say that. It's disgusting to think how many NCs he left on the field.

I'll also say things are as stressful as ever - will we win/lose our bowl game? Will we have success recruiting? I heard someone say we'd be out the top 10 even if Miles had stayed because Louisiana is down; if thats the case, Eaux will preside over the worst class in years.

I agree 10% with devillier when he says you implement the spread but have to be flexible based off the players you get.
