Payback for the interception by Peterson where he clearly had BOTH feet in bounds and control of the ball. The SEC front office figured since they gift wrapped that national championship season for you that they would make you earn a shot at this one.:thumb:

Geez, seeing a lot of smacking around here, and I guess that's what these kinds of boards are for. But I'm a realist.

I think LSU is terrific this year, and has a great chance, I'm enjoying every minute of this season. But I watched the Florida game with dread. I'm almost 60, and I just can't remember, (recently at least) seeing a team go into the Swamp and just stomp the crap out of the Gators, physically, the way Bama did.

I was almost relieved that Brantley got hurt and out of there, before he needed a dang ambulance. Very scary.

You must not remember the 2002 35-7 beatdown we put on them. The only thing bad about that game was that the Tigers lost their starting QB, not the Gators.

Comparing games against common opponents is fun, but it really doesn't mean anything. Both LSU and AMAB have the chance to run the table, meaning the Nov 5 game could be the biggest in series history. As long as both teams win the ones they should, the comparisons by other teams won't mean anything once the final of that game is in the books.

Bama makes up for teams having a bye week before their game by having such wonderful bama loving dedicated officals ready to show their support for their team.

Wasn't working for us last week. I still don't understand why that QB fumble was that poorly explained and that hay-maker Bostic threw, should have gotten him thrown out. And that spitting crap and that................etc.

I heard we had the same boys that got reprimanded for the LSU/Georgia, Arkansas/Florida games.

Since we're speaking of catastrophies ..... the biggest worry I have is that we beat Bama ... and everyone else ...until the last game ....

.... And the Piggies lay it on us.

Wonder how that would work ... Bama beats piggies .... LSU beats Bama .. then Piggies beat LSU.

They ain't the best team in the league, but for some reason, they always eat the box of Cornflakes before they come play us. I guess the decoder ring for them is just a bonus.

Match ups can be a bummer. Miles has taken control of this offense. Last year he started reeling it in. Crowton's spread was on a suffocating, short leash. This year it's all pro-set power football. Arkansas will not match up as well and the D has settled back toward that conservative approach. They practice against these formations each day and they reflect the change in offensive strategy as well. Arky will find it hard to put their arms around this model.

I hope ur right. ... but then .. things could change .. and we could be back to that "spread" once more. Ya never know with CLM.

At least we have them at home. Part of me says we should have no problem with the pigs ... but another part of me looks at the last 4 years and wonders why we have so much problem with the pigs.

Not always a bad thing for the team to worry a little. No spread so far. Why anyone would mess with this power I you are shoving down everyone's throat would be a major miscalculation. Getting JJ involved in the option, doesn't require Les to reinvent the wheel.
