Things you can probably expect Hawthorne to say during a broadcast this year:

There's Devery Henderson with the touchdown

Ryan Clark picks it off and we are going the other way

    Ball 4

    Love that guy though

I mainly switch to hear Doug Moreau's analysis. He follows LSU more than the TV commentators and explains what is happening on the field better than most. Hawthorne is replaceable but I dread the day that Moreau hangs it up.

Deuce McAllister was at the 2011 SECCG representing LSU. Stranger things have happened...

Urban Meyer was the "LSU" guy at the 2007 BCSNCG, too. What a crock!

I bought a radio TV Sync device, the Motron RTS-200. I mute the TV audio and then run the FM radio through the RTS which allows me to delay the audio to match the video, which is always behind. I have found that the delay for LSU games can be as little as 8 seconds or as much as 45 seconds. This device lets you delay in increments down to a hundredth of a second, which is overkill for syncing with live TV games. But you can also use this device in the movie studio to sync audio and video where that kind of control is essential. I just find the rough sync in the first minute or so of the game and then use the remote to tweak it from time to time in the first quarter until it is perfect.

Usually you have to sync it again in the second half because the delay will often be different. But it is great. I can toggle back and forth between the TV and radio audio and I have even played both audio simultaneously when I am alone and there is no one but me to be annoyed. I see that it has gone up to $199. I have had mine for four or five years. I like it.

I am sure it would work on audio output from the computer as well. But it is the LSU broadcast that I want to hear.

No, but I saw Ronnie Rantz(I think) interview Deuce for CST and he was really positive about representing LSU and seemed genuine about it.

I was going to add the net's delay is way worse. You'd have to pause your tv for about a minute or more and avoid instant messages, calls and texts from friends and family when les begins his clock management skills.

Any recommendations for someone wanting to do something similar from a far? i.e. Any way to stream in a local BR broadcast here? Any internet options anyone recommends? I get tired of the national blowhards for sure.
