Not a big deal. Dude got a DWI and had a little rap sheet and he wasn't a real solid performer. What baffled me is how LaRussa issued a statement about how the Cardinals don't want anyone like that around, because it sends a bad msg and is inconsistent with what the Cardinals organization stands for. This from the man who just 365 days ago (less actually) was getting a DWI of his own.
The moral statute of limitations is 100 days in pro sports. :yelwink2: What always gets me is how people do a hit and run like Spezio, and somehow think nobody will figure out that the car is theirs. :dis:
In my state, the Chief State Supreme Court Justice has 2 hit and runs, both allegedly while she was intoxicated.
Classic irresponsibility. I'll just guess that in her position with the State, she figured she'd get out of it.
She has for the most part. There was also talk that Toal was likely drinking on the flight. But that kind of stuff rarely gets investigated.
