Florida looked terrible. Good job michigan is all I can say. Your gameplan was absolutely perfect. Our turn on the 7th.
Florida's defense was non-existent today; not a good showing for the SEC. Of course, Florida's performance doesn't come close to looking as bad as that of Arkansas.
Gators go down...props to Mich...they played a great game, on the other hand the gators "D" didn't get the job done. Not enough meat at the line. Did'nt look like the same UF team we played though...or is it just me. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Right, just like last year when OSU bought into the media hype that there were going to roll over Florida and got surprised. If we lose our game against OSU just because we bought into the media hype, I will start punching holes through my walls with my head. The Michigan win is a good thing for LSU because it will help our boys see the reality that teams this year like Michigan and Ohio State are powerhouses just as talented as teams like LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
That is funny, because I've seen OSU people saying that they didn't understand why Tressel played a zone defense the whole game against Florida last year, and let Chris Leak pick them apart.
I don't see how UM winning or losing is good for LSU...For us fans, it's just something to talk about...As a team playing for the championship, I'm sure they're just focusing on OSU, not on what other teams are doing or not doing.
Above are two great points. Over the past year, we've seen history basically re-written. The mantra of so many was how OSU couldn't handle the speed and that morphed in to OSU couldn't handle the spread. BUT, while UF's speed did play a large part in last year's NC game, it was the speed on their defense that was the main ingredient. Think about it...Troy Smith 4-14. OSU less than 100 yards gained on offense. Longest reception was 13 yards. Less than 10 first downs the entire game.
Really? It's not rocket science. It's good in the sense of them seeing first hand what can happen if you come into a game overconfident or thinking a speed advantage (if there even was one) guarantees a win.
