Yes, 5-4 Tigers win. Jordan Thompson with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 11th. Brought my wife to her first ever Tiger baseball game. It was pretty boring for 7 innings, but 8-11 were exciting.
We got the General Admission tickets for $20 per adult. $10 for kids. Reserved seating is $35. You cannot buy them at the stadium Ticket Office. You have to buy them online on the Astros website, so I recommend doing that before you go. You must download the MLB Ballpark app to your phone to present your ticket at the entrance gate. All concessions are card only. No cash.
Come to think of it, even the lot where I parked was card only, which caught me off guard. Parking $15 Tickets $40 + $15 in fees Food $30 (Crawford dog, cheeseburger, pretzel) Total = $100 for 2 people!! I couldn't believe it.
Neither can I. Even though I'm in my mid 70s, I could win the lottery and no win in Hell would I pay those prices.
that seems fairly cheap i went to a pelicans game last week, it was like 70 for two tickets, 22 for parking, then a couple hot dogs and a drink and it was over 100. this is what things cost now, old timers.
I'm pretty sure only the ticket proceeds go to Shriner's Children's Hospital, which I am more than happy to pay. As a 5-6th grader in 1950, my dad was in a Shriner's hospital in Shreveport for 2 years with polio. Once a month my grandparents would drive from south Louisiana to Shreveport to see him. As far as I know, the hospital stay did not cost them a dime.
I'm kind of itching to get to a Pels game, they're really starting to play well. What kind of seats did $70 get you?
