Any decent bar-and-grill burger is better than fast food. But you have to eat fast food sometimes on the road. Sonic and Whataburger top the fast food list IMO. I like mustard on a burger and I like the bun tosted on the grill, not in a toaster.
Jake's and Chip's are really good. When I go to Snuffer's, I always get the chicken caesar salad--to offset the cheese fries. I used to go to the Snuffer's in Addison, but there's been one in Plano for the past 4 or 5 years, as well. I doubt seriously that I'm going to venture down the da Cliff for a burger, though.
