Cancel the National Championship game and just give the title to LSU. 1. LSU already beat the #2 and #3 teams in the country. 2. If LSU has to play Oregon or Alabama again, then they'll have to beat them twice, whereas Oregon and Alabama only have to beat LSU once to win the NC. Fair? If you are going to do a rematch then it should be 2 out of 3. 3. LSU beat Alabama in Alabama. Alabama had their shot. 4. A young LSU team without its starting QB dominated Oregon. LSU is much better now. The PAC-12 should spare themselves the embarrassment. 5. If LSU wins out, Alabama wont even play for the conference championship game. But they'd get to play for the National title? Does that make sense? 6. Saban would likely pop a blood vessel sometime during the rematch resulting in about a 1 hour television delay while the medics attend him. 7. More crying Alabama fans on the TV. (Hmmm...maybe LSU should play them again). The solution? 1. Let some other one loss team play LSU. No rematches. 2. Pick a Pac12 All-Star team and let them play LSU for the title. *****Disclaimer**** All bets are off is LSU doesnt win out.
Why? LSU beat Bama at their house and you let the Hogs come into your house and win while being the #1 team when Bama kicked their ass. I hope that scenerio doesn't happen but no I wasn't being sarcastic perhaps a little overboard. It's time for LSU to going back to beating the crap out of the Hogs as well.
Arkansas has won 3 of the last 4 with the Tigers right? LSU better come in with a chip on their shoulder. Otherwise they risk losing the NC on their own field. I would love to see the Tigers administer a beat down.
Tigers are due to win but last time LSU was #1 in 07, the Hogs won and the game was in Baton Rouge.....talk about a heartbreaker! Louisiana State Game by Game against Opponents
I don't want to dismiss arky as they are a very good team, but they're fairly one dimensional and that works well for us. If they had Knile Davis this year I'd be very concerned about this game. So far this year we are playing well in day games at home so let's hope that continues.
Davis has supposably been practicing for weeks. What the odds he plays vs. LSU and is healthy enough to do some real damage??
