Ensminger made a quick work offensive turn around last year. He seems to be able to coordinate quickly. I liked what I saw. Hopefully, he is the choice.

Problem with Ensminger would be, does he really want it?
He has said in the past he wouldn’t, so does he take it because he’s forced to and we go thru this again next year. We need stability in our offense, it’s been in the basement too long. Find someone who wants it and can give these athletes a system that last for more than a year. Recruits are not going to like this uncertainty. Hope O is just keeping it close to the vest and has a great OC already in the bag.

There is no way. No way he is a worse human being than Kiffin, he just isn’t O’s boy and probably didn’t put up with his bullshit interfering.

I wish I knew. It might explain a lot. I don't really know anything about Canada. Does he have an abrasive personality? Is is something else. "Maturity issues" have been mentioned, whatever that means. Does he get along with the other coaches other than Oeaux? Do the players like him?

Maybe @bhelmLSU could cast some light on the situation.

The problem with Ensminger is he fucking sucks. If he was an OC he would be one somewhere.

We are going to go back to a pro style offense with no shifts and motion that barely beats teams we should throttle and gets shut out by Alabama. And all with worse players.

Look at the number of jobs Canada has had in the last few years... Some he left and some he was fired from... They're something up with him that probably drives people the wrong way...
Also, people are acting like you can't win with a pro style o or west coast o... The dawgs are in the playoffs and they run more pro style o... They just have better QB play than we've had in recent memory... I supported Canada because he is/was a coach on our team but was not too thrilled with all the jet sweeps...
The worse thing about this decision is the timing because it's a distraction to the players preparing to beat the hated fighting Irish... Geaux...

We throttled a bunch of teams when Eaux was interim. Canada’s offense is pretty innovative, but there are other ways to create offense. I wouldn’t be excited about an Ensminger hire; that would fly in the face of having bright coordinators and Eaux as the don. Supposedly they’re looking to bring in another hot name.
