Mike D said E told him he didn't want the job but who knows. A tight ends coach works just as many hours as any other coach so why not get paid?
Ok well lets say O did step in; then we won with him stepping in. One way or another the offense was not as promised. We didn't light the world on fire. I want to believe that it would be a matter of time giving canada a chance to get his players and all (sounds familiar right ) but it doesn't look like we will get that chance. Again those who say I "blindly accept Orgeron" I would have liked more vetting of Canada if he does in fact have insubordination issues this should have been caught. I assume that is why he was let go from NC state after having a good offensive season. That mistake can not be duplicated.
We also didn't light the world on fire with either offense. You know whose did E from last year. (No before you assume that I do not want him as OC) Truth remains he did more than Canada did.
This hire, one way or another, is going to be the yardstick that both Orgeron AND Aleva will immediately be measured with. And they will both be measured with great scrutiny !!
