USC had a very good offense in the early 2000s producing 2 heisman winning qbs and one heisman winning rb...
Since LSU is paying an extraordinary amount to ex coaches...and is about to pay more, are there any legs to the rumor that Aleva is prepared to hire Les Miles as an OC to replace Canada ??? After all, Orgeron wants a strong running game balanced with passing and wants the 73 year old consultant, Sullivan, to have more influence in the passing game and Miles is the type of guy to listen to and respect his elders by passing more. Also, Orgeron likes to hire people he already worked with...and could beat up Miles in a fistfight if it came to that. LSU would save a lot of money.
You don’t think the game has moved in other directions now? That more and more are going to the pass happy stuff? I guess I am just not convinced we have the answer
