    I don't know. Last year UNO beat LSU twice....and LSU played in the CWS finals. The weekday, non conference games aren't nearly as important as the conference series. Manieri likes to go "johnny wholestaff" in the non important non conference games and rest his starters. It's more important to beat Miss. State than Nicholls state.

    It looked rough for a while even in SEC play then the team came together. I was happily surprised by how far the LSU baseball team got last year. I did not think we had the pitching depth to go that far. Was a great effort. Our guys ran out of gas 1 game early and lost the CWS...
