Man that article makes LSU like an even bigger train wreck than it is from an administrative standpoint. Ross Dellenger tweeted yesterday that Canada was walking away from the LSU busses with his family. So I’m not even sure he travelled home with the team. I saw life in LSU’s offense this season. More life than I have in the last 10 years. And it’s about to be sucked out because our head coach who was given a job on a silver platter he is completely unqualified for doesn’t get along with the OC.

If Canada wants to be here then he will be back. If they fire him then I would imagine that both Big Nose Joe and Big Head O are sure to follow at some point in the near future.

This is the exact incompetence I’m talking about. If Canada was the brides maid (like O) then why such a large buyout because now he holds all the power. Either they have to eat crow and take him back or add him to the list of coaches we are paying to sit on their ass. From the first attempt to fire Les, the search for his replacement, the large buyout for O, and now this assistant buyout, Joe has shown that he is not the man to be running our athletic department. He has made it extremely difficult & expensive to correct this problem. The whole purpose of getting rid of Les/Cam was to fix the offense and many dollars later it is still in shambles.

It's kind of a Trump firing Mueller situation...bad consequences if it goes down.

Dellinger reported that Canada flew back with the team today. Total CF like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.
This smells more of an Alleva play than anything.

Really, that’s interesting. You know at this point it may be better if he just goes. Can you imagine this cloud hanging over the program for another season.

i don’t have any inside info, but according to Hanny and McClure on postgame yesterday, the rift is not fixable and he’s not coming back.

didn’t give specifics or put blame on either side.
just said this marriage is over and they’re negotiating a divorce settlement.
