That's a bit of an exaggeration. The fanbase is in disarray and a little deranged, seeing disaster around every corner. This was a disappointing loss but not an embarrassing one. We should have won but let it get away.

I think the Canada situation merits a review of what the Evil Dwarf calls ‘the process.’
Your program aches for an offensive overhaul. You fire a head coach because of this. You hire the interim/favorite son . He brings in the much needed OC with a much needed new approach etc and then you fire him after one season?
As I’ve posted I don’t like Canada’s offense but the question remains: Why the fuck did you ever bring him in???. This reeks of incompetence matching the Cleveland Browns.
If you are an LSU football season ticket holder you are getting dog shit results for your hard earned dollar.

The evidence points to Canada being such an unbearable hardass that maybe it's best that he leaves

I don't know about that. Read what Russell Gage had to say about him

“I wish nothing but the best for Matt,” Gage continued. “Great guy, great coach. He has a great mind, great head on his shoulders, funny guy. I could go on and on about how good of a person he is. I hope nothing but the best. I don’t know the situation, but I hope for the best for him.”

I’m starting to think that him being an “unbearable hardass” is just him having a difference of opinion on how an offense should be run.

I still think we are cursed. Canada has been an offensive success everywhere he has gone, except LSU.

Canada's history shows him not getting along with coaches,.. he's been at 6 schools in 8 years and now he's leaving again.
