Getting butt fucked on national TV in a meaningless game sure is good for recruiting! It would have without a doubt been better to not play than to show O to be gutless and our offense to be clueless. Even made the defense look like shit at the end.
Anybody with a brain already knew that. At this point in recruiting we're going to get the other SEC teams leftovers and kids from Louisiana who don't want to go far away from home or who may have a chance to start immediately.
I was at the game and the players were fired up the whole time and played with passion. It was freaking cold and windy and rainy the entire time. Not punching it in 3 times at the goal line and only getting 3 pts costs is that game, I.e. the kicker, not that it was “meaningless.”
Not going to sugar coat what happened today, but "butt fucked on national TV in a meaningless game" is what happened to us against Troy, not today, and we recruited just fine after that.
You are an absolute idiot. You are not deserving of a championship football team. You see nothing when it comes to football. It is not this game that drives recruits away it is ignorant disloyal fans just like you that drive them away. I would take time to show you how your view of the game is the exact opposite of what you think but you are hopeless and not worth the time.
If we simply had a field goal kicker we would have won, hell we can't even kick an extra point. And you are correct recruits wont leave us because of the game today but rather because of fans like lsu_dane.
Stop. Recruits don’t give much of a shit about fans, and if they do LSU is a net positive. Losing to ND is worse, but honestly this wasn’t a terrible loss; just disappointing. Can we please try to keep things intellectually honest?
Inner program turmoil, like the obvious in-fighting between the head coach and offensive coordinator, is far more likely to hurt recruiting than a few disgruntled fans on the internet. Lighten up, Francis.
Oh when you put it that way its so much better what happened today..... Ironic both these games came on the heels of O messing with the offense. Never said I hated bowl games.
