Holding O to a victory and for damn sure a well played game. I won’t be happy if we lose and if we look crappy, very irritated.
Ive given him credit. Gave him credit for the Canada hire, credit for not letting the wheels fall off after the Troy game, but honestly I can’t think of much else to give him credit for considering in the same season LSU had its worst loss to MSST in he history of the program and having the OOC home streak snapped by Troy of all teams. I personally think Orgeron is in way over his head, and shouldn’t be the head coach of Northwestern State much less LSU. I’m not gonna pretend he is awesome just because he is a coon ass.
So a win vs Auburn excuses a loss vs Troy? Is that how that works? I’m not on the cliff either. I’ve always thought this hire was a shitty one so I didn’t climb up that fucker. I’m at the bottom already homie, I’ll see you when you jump in a few seasons.
O hasn’t done anything to be rewarded for going to the citrus bowl. We got this bowl because the SEC had a down year and we travel well. We didn’t beat anyone special and lost to two teams we should have beaten. If Alleva wouldn’t have crapped the bed with Herman or Fisher we are in the playoffs or at least a New Years Six bowl. I would start the search now and clean house after we finish paying off all these coaches who aren’t even coaching .
We were at 70% strength or less when we played Moo U. Go back and look and see who didnt play in that game, Moo was at full strength. No Key, no Guice, no Lawrence no Herron, no Alexander, no Donnie Alexander. As far Troy even mighty Saban lost to a team like Troy it happens all the time in college football. Fisher are you kidding me, Herman are you kidding me!
Since none of us know what the nature of the relationship between Oeaux and Canada is any declarations of fault are pure speculation and guessing, To those who say that Oeaux should have vetted Canada better, how much were you vetted during your last job application? How much vetting do you do before you hired somebody? All of us have had bosses we hate. Some of us have hired people we initially liked but found out what their true nature was later. It happens every day in real life. Why can't it happen in sports? How much vetting did Joe Dean do before he hired Curley Hallman? For that matter how much vetting did Mark Emmert do before he hired Nick Saban?
No one ever pissed away 4.5 million on me...big difference. I had a come to Jesus talk today with a young cook. It worked too.
We're talking about Football Wins & Football Losses. Football the game, not world views. Football is black & white. You either win or you lose. There are variables. So what? Big schools pay big dollars to Fix variables, to go in their favor. Some schools pay to win, others go cheap. Is there room for 'maybe' wins here? Is this the future: "Alabama maybe beat LSU 24-10....but we need more time for further reflection & to fully digest this game, before we can truly call it a win. Isn't that right high-voice Gary?" "I haven't reflected on it, but do I need to? Nick Saban is back in the playoffs, and he did it without God's gift to Offense, Lane Kiffin" "<dead air time> Uh..It's November 4th Gary.. playoffs will be determined in December & please bring it down an octave or two." "Watch & learn Vern Jr. Nick will be in the playoffs. And very funny yous guys! I hold the record for best late 1980's Whitney Houston high note in the business."
