    He was, but got Fired.

Emsminger was Auburn's OC in 2008. The final nail in Tuberville's coffin. 5-7 & 2-6 SEC

    A&M & LA Tech too.

Where is AT now? He left just before the early signing period; wasn’t that his whole fricken job? Kind of an asshole move, and then trying to poach recruits on top of that? I get the impression he was told GFY and I’m inclined to agree.

He's interviewing now. Was reading he could land at Ole Miss. Doubt he'll be out of work very long. Something like the Canada situation occurred between he & Rosy Finch. He got the majority of the work done on the 2018 class before he left & was working on 2019. Nah, if AT was seriously trying to poach LSU, he wouldn't go after a Juco, imo.

Ensminger's one way he could go.

But Rosy is real tight with Ensminger..a Finch Boyz. Who else fits? Eddie Gran worked with Ensminger at Auburn for 4 years & worked with Rosy at Tennessee in 2009. Another finch in the nest? Plenty of 'em to light the BBQ..

    I liked Canada.

His offense was way different from what we saw under Miles...despite similar offensive rankings. The rankings weren't very different because Canada was hamstrung by player injuries and the fact that 5 or 6 upper class offensive linemen transferred out when Orgeron took over. Canada is still an unknown commodity because one season isn't enough to implement a system...especially under the above conditions.

The new OC will be an Orgeron yes man. Much like Cameron was under Miles...and we will probably see a return to a large de emphasis in the passing game because Orgeron hasn't coached a single game of offense. Get ready for predictability.

I don't care who the next OC is...i'm more concerned who the next head coach of LSU is.

Maybe Orgeron's tenure at LSU will give us time to replace Aleva before the next coaching search. That's what I'm hoping for.

if O flops, Alleva’s head will likely roll first.

ADs don’t get to make a bad football hire twice at LSU.
although i think Dean hired both Curley and DiNardo.

OM would be a move up, right?

I don’t think you can pin AT on the bird-man.

Scott Long intimated that Canada's demise is not gonna be easy to pay for considering they're paying 9 million to Miles, $600,000 to Cameron, $800,000 to Johnny Jones and around $400,000 to Damien Craig. It's not that easy for Orgeron and Aleva to play around with other people's money because of a conflicting ego.
