Our 3rd down conversion rate was great, which kept Bama off the field. That essentially led to us having more total yards, but the offense didnt really do a damn thing. We crossed the fifty, what, 3 or 4 times? And this was against a Bama defense that was basically down to their second string. The offense had a million chances (in a large part due to the defense forcing 3 and outs) and couldnt do anything. Im still optimistic that year 2 will be a good one, but I didnt wake up as happy as many fans did this morning.
Bama D is legit. The offense is just a 4 cylinder trying to get up to highway speeds, but at least it ain’t found on road dead like it’s been for years. I think O will get us purring like a kitten soon.
its not that the offense didn't do anything, the offense shot itself in the foot several times. Plenty of opportunities were there to be had saturday
No but it would be Aranda if one of them left. There will be quite a few head coaching jobs opening up soon
CBS Sports has Dave Aranda #3, among top 5 coaching candidates after 2017 https://www.seccountry.com/lsu/cbs-sports-dave-aranda-jeremy-pruitt-among-top-5-coaching-candidates-2017
got me there, I see it now,.. I scanned but didn't see a date,.. they had Saturday's LSU score listed, so I assumed it was current. Anyways I think Aranda is gone after this year,.. why wouldn't a school want him?
