The truth is all about Baton Rouge and how Baton Rouge works. We have very little going on in South Louisiana but LSU football is Huge ! Last year it was all about CLM and how stupid he was and questions on the radio about if the LSU program was ready to take a fall. Then the Vol game happened and oh my God, it was on. Of course in the middle of winning games we did not win games the right way and JJ was in the middle of not winning right. We lost 2 games with a nice team but I thought it was a great coaching job by the CLM staff. Then we moved into the off season and it was Crowton and then it was the replacement for Crowton. Then it was Mett vs JJ with little talk about JL. Then it was Krag getting sick and stepping down and Stud stepping up. Then it got back to JJ vs Mett ! Then the fight Then it was about JJ not being on the team Then it was about JL vs Mett Then it was about JL and not being able to protect the ball. Then we beat down the Ducks and JL looked average. Then we beat down MSU and JL looked better. Then we beat down WV and JL looked much better. Now we are back on to JJ because he is coming back to the team. What is the truth about Baton Rouge ? It will always be something so just learn to roll with CLM and enjoy the ride and the many many many Victories! LSU!:LSU231::LSU231::LSU231:LSU!
The truth is jj is back for his LAST MUDDERFLOPPIN YEAR. We have only about four months before his eligibility runs out. We then can thank him for his services and rejoice in never having to discuss him being our qb again. Next year we will be living in Metts world. That's if honey badger let's him.
I am really glad that JJ will not have to deal with a life changing decision from all of this, and glad that he makes it back to the team. That being said I have never ever been real big on JJ, he just lacks the leadership and decision making ability that it takes to lead a high caliber college team. Could part of that be due to Crowton's ineptitude as an O coord, maybe. But I still saw a very confused individual trying to run the offense on the field in EVERY game last year, except the Cotton bowl.
Got to disagree with the first part of that sentence.I've lived all over the world and can say Southern Louisiana is one of the most unique and interesting parts of the US and the food is world class. If you'd said that about Northern Louisiana I wouldn't have quibbled. :thumb:
