Bad News: Alabama/Arkansas from our suckass division raped us on the Court. Auburn/Ole Miss Gave us a run. Miss St. out hustled us late in the game yesterday.

That doesn't bode well for a "run".

Your comment gave me the impression that you were overlooking the importance of good facilities.

Then we're on the same team here.

I didn't say every home game was a collapse... don't you remember pivotal games played in front of a national audience where a ton of people showed up and the team dropped the ball? When the casual fan goes to a game like that and LSU loses, those casual fans are more likely to lose interest than to come back.

Fact is that football recruits come to LSU for the tradition and, more importantly, the facilities... Until LSU upgrades the basketball facilities, they wont get the recruits or a big name coach... Frankly, I don't want a big name coach.. I would like them to take a chance on a young innovator...

Is it? 6 of the 10 years were probation laden. And, I guess this is what Brady is about during those probation filled years... 1 final four, 2 SEC titles, 2 (or 3) more SEC West titles, and he's been the third most successful SEC coach during his tenure behind only Tubby Smith and Billy D. I don't think any of the Brady bashers seem to care about actual facts...

Tasmin is the smartest player and biggest hustler on the team. He hasn't shown that he can take over a a game yet this season. But he playes heard every second of the game. He's a very underrated on the ball defender.

id just like to remind everyone of the youth of this team. 3 of the above mentioned 4 are sophomores, and so is johnson, gt and tas. one of those (tas) is a good player. one (gt) is a good role player. thats not bad (not great either) for sophomores. MANY players that are good/great as jrs and srs do squat as fr and sophs. that hasnt been happening much lately at lsu (mostly because of youth/defections?) but its still true that 18-20 yr olds can (often do) improve tons. none of these guys are superstars but can be great college players given time. a team with decent sophomores and an experienced star (like current team) will often not be as good as a team with tons of decent seniors and inexperienced stars (lsu in 1 or 2 yrs-with randolph and/or monroe, +).

This team needs a point guard or will continue to be bad. We also could learn how to play defense late in games as well. We have given several games away this season. Hopefully we can salvage a win against Tenn.

Losing is part of the game. An 85% win percentage for five years at home is respectable.
