I know it's pure speculation but on of the other message boards, bayou Bengal insider has a thread saying Harris is transferring. Again, I know at this point it's pure speculation unless it's not, but anyone think it's possible?
The problem is that Jennings is awful, our coaches made few changes, and we've seen this script before - most of Miles' tenure.
Jennings is proven, he = 50% passing, consistent bad throws and consistently missing open receivers. Although I did see 2 plays where he stepped up in the pocket yesterday, I was proud of him for that at least. But he missed some key throws on 3rd down that would have extended drives
I am praying to the good lord that Brandon Harris blows the doors off this offense next year. If Harris can elevate his level of play to that of a Nick Marshall or Treyvon Boykin, with LF7, Dupre, Dural, Quinn and Williams, not too mention the incoming freshman class, LSU could easily be the team to beat in the west next year....easily!!! Fellow Tiger Fans, the sky is not falling, we have work to do this offseason, all great teams do. Lets wish Chavis and all the players leaving, all the success in their future endeavors and have a happy new year. I'm sorry, but i still truly believe that LSU is going to stomp A&M's ass next year in Tiger Stadium, with our without Chavis in either press box.
Just think of how big a statement it would be if Harris left and went to like Oregon or FSU and was a star.
Watching the Orange Bowl tonight reflecting on when we played Miss St. Just from the Miss St game alone Harris is a better passer than Jennings. Not gonna read this whole thread but I don't remember Harris given any opportunity that amounted to anything other than maybe 1 rent a win team. Any QB can have a bad quarter, half or game though. Zak Prescott had a pretty bad 1st Quarter tonight. Never mind the offense or plays or system. In the pros and college they build their offense around their QB. Sure Harris lacks the experience and Jennings has it because Miles refuses to play him just like he did Jarret Lee, his senior season when he led the SEC in passing efficiency. If Harris transfers it is just par for the course. No telling what really happened behind the scenes this year with all the changes in store for 2015. Reminds me of the last few years of losing our players early. Let's see if Miles can build something or falls on his face. We will know something by this time next year.
