I think it's safe to say LSU is one of them - we would have heard about it otherwise.

He'd go to Ole Miss before Florida IMO.

Well then he is coming to LSU then...

b/c the one knock Rickey has is that he is hard to get through to... he admits that this is a flaw of his, as well, so I don't see why he would willingly play for a nit-wit

I don't think there is any question that Dixon favors LSU and would like to go there, but what happens if Chris Michell and say Lance Kendricks decide to commit? I don't think we'd give another WR a scholarship.

He knows that Ole Miss only has 2 WR's on scholarship for next year and could play right away. But that is just a back up plan for him, if something goes wrong with LSU, which I don't think happens.

I know there is a lot that goes into recruiting now and there are options for kids to go elsewhere and get a good education and maybe play sooner .

But as a kid growing up in La. if i had the skills to play at LSU and they offered me a scholarship i would scramble for a pen and tell them to show me where to sign.

I cant tell you how many times i would lay in my bed as a little boy imagining running out of the tunnel into Tiger Stadium as a player. It brings back the memories of listening to John Ferguson describe the games and hearing the players names of LSU called out over the radio.

My 2 favorites being Bert Jones and Tommy Casanova.

I guess i am hoping maybe some of the recruits from Louisiana who are still deciding had some of those same memories as a little kid.

To play and represent the State you grew up in and take pride in the accomplishments you are able to bring to it.

I wish all these guys the best of luck in wherever they choose but i hope they choose the Fightin Tigers.
