can someone explain to me why LSU-UGA is a 2:30 kickoff?

Dammit, I take a vacation and come back to this news. I don't mind day games that much, but the night ones like Florida and Auburn last year were just so fantastic. At least this means I won't have to watch some crappy ACC game that afternoon.

You've been AWOL lately! And aren't you supposed to be @ the UGA in person?

Argh. We shall see. The job hunt is slow. Almost had an awesome job at a nonprofit, but they are having money issues. By the time I get one, time off may be hard to come by, and funds may be low.

Will discuss soon. It's been a nuthouse here.

I read an article in the Atlanta Journal Constitution about a month ago stating that this game would probably be a 2:30 start time. WHY? Because that is the traditional start time for Georgia football games. Atlanta rules the SEC. Ever wonder why the SECCG is always in the Atlanta Tent and never in the Superdome. :angryfire

I thought Bama riled the SEC since the headquarters are located in Alabama?

Thats pretty hard for them to do since we know Florida is in control and gets everything they want - just look at the bowl games in their state.

What's really funny is that most of our rivals and plenty of fans from around the country felt that the BCS was determined to put LSU in the Championship last year.
