Anchorage!! (Elmendorf....now I guess it's Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson)!! We're excited!! Utah was our favorite place but Alaska is exciting! I was born and raised in La (left at 19 and 37 now) and didn't know what I was missing without snow and mountains (NODAK has none:lol though I do miss the La seafood and good La duck hunting!!
I'm not putting this on the officials. LSU got beat by a better team tonight. I just feel the refs should be a little more protective of a QB that is sliding.
Was never stationed in Alaska, but went TDY to a couple of locations in Alaska in the '80s. Have ridden the train from Anchorage to Fairbanks a couple of times. You'll get some good seafood in Anchorage (no crawfish :lol, but the king crab is damn good. Love the halibut also. You'll enjoy the tour.
I thought it could've been helmet to helmet too, ESPECIALLY when the QB is essentially giving himself up by sliding.
you will love it in anchorage....i was stationed in ft.rich in the 80s and didnt wanna leave....but when the psc orders come down its time to move around...
I believe it's a safety issue so a QB doesn't suffer any brain damage. I'm guessing it was a no call on JJ because he has nothing to lose.
I too don't understand the no call. He launched himself helmet to helmet against a sliding QB who had given himself up. No consistency.
