To address the question, I will say no. While Tech has terrible run defense, they have been in a passing league, so they have had to focus on pass D. Now all they will have to do is stop the run, With a month to prepare, they will get it done I am afraid. I hope #7 runs for 350, and I am pulling for him, but reality is ugly. Geaux Tigers.
His "Heisman stock" definitely took a hit from that weekend. Yet, the following week he was still in the conversations about who was going to win the Heisman. The 91 yards the following week against UArk, combined with that game being the second loss, is what pushed him out completely as I see this. The theory that sub-100 yard games against OOC opponents like CSU should be a determining factor ... I don't see the logic.
