I seriously doubt it. Especially if Oregon and Oklahoma go undefeated. Even then Boise and TCU will probably still be undefeated. Could the SEC Champ's SOS be good enough to over come that?

By your arguement, then no. If OK and OR are undefeated then they should be in, but a one loss SEC should be in the title game before Boise and TCU.

It should, but the rest of the country is tired of hearing about how the SEC is head and shoulders above them. I wouldn't be surprised if an undefeated SEC team gets "Auburned" this year.

It will all come down to SOS. If its LSU, strong OOC games against NC and WVU bolster our SOS, despite the SEC East destroying each other. Oregon, Boise and TCU will all suffer in the computer polls due to overall weaker SOS. At this point in time, its way too early to even hazard a guess how this is going to shake out. Michigan State is the team to beat in the Big 10 right now.

If LSU is able to beat Auburn on the road, that will add serious points to our SOS component. Flip for Auburn, a win over 7-0 LSU will be a huge boost there. The Iron Bowl will have the most significance it has had in years. With all the upsets in the Top 10 this week, college football is getting very exciting, and will be very fun to watch over the next few weeks.

I think it's far too early to think about NCG. We just had what? 4 top 10 teams lose this weekend?

There is NO WAY and undefeated LSU would not be in the game. If we go on to beat Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, and win the SEC title game we would be in.

I feel stronger about that if Auburn goes undefeated. The voters could never to that to them twice.

I heard two "experts" say that the SEC West is the best conference in football. Now we will have 5 ranked teams in the west unless Arky drops out; which I do not think will happen.

LSU won't be undefeated so no worries there. The only way a one loss SEC team makes it is if the remaining two no loss teams are TCU and Boise St...then you may see a leap frog over one of them.

We would have to get very lucky to go undefeated this year and if we have proven one thing this year is that we are very..........

I doubt if a one loss SEC team will get there if the Big "12", PAC "10" or Big "10" produce undefeated teams. Not because an SEC team isn't worthy, but because this year reeks of parity like no other.

This year there may be up to 8 teams (Hell, mabe more) who could play in a championship game and perform just fine.

There's some good @ games this week to help the separation of the undefeateds:

    LSU @ Auburn
    Oklahoma @ Mizzou
    Air Force @ TCU
    Michigan State @ Northwestern
