Listening to Hanagriff and Ott this morning and they both said they don't expect Canada to return next season. Said he has off the field maturity issues, whatever that means. We never did find out why he was run off at NC State. Thing is nobody is beating his door in to hire him. No way he hops on this years merry-go-round for one of the primeaux jobs. He would have to take a very serious pay cut to be a head coach any place that would hire him. Kent State, for example needs a coach. They were payng their previous coach barely over $400k. Who in their right mind would voluntarily take a million dollar pay cut.
Man I don’t like hearing this. If this is the case I hope Eaux has already started looking for an OC, not Ensminger. I think that’s a step back. It seems like O wants a more pro style offense fro what I’m hearing but you better have the personnel to run it. Last time I checked we’re thin on OL, RB and we don’t have an established QB. That doesn’t bode well for a pro style O.
But Orgeron was willing to hire Kiffin? Talk about the poster boy for off the field antics. I don't care if Canada is shooting Jagr bombs at Fred's every night. If he gets it done, fuck it.
