And the gist of the thread and it’s proponents seems like wishywashy nitpicking. EDIT: I don’t mind having concerns, but wouldn’t read into it too far just yet.
I didn’t take it that way now that I watched it, seems like he was thinking out loud as to the question put in front of him. I know in the past he had a way of pissing off those around him because he thought he knew more than he did, but it seems like since Troy he has stepped back in to the role he is built for. I think he is realizing his role but he still has some diplomacy to work on. Also I hope our assistants have thick skin and don’t let O’s mouth hinder their work. It’s hard enough to win in our league without added pressure.
See, if you stop for a second, and then ask yourself, how would O have handled this if he was talking about Aranda. It would be completely different. And that's what bothers me.
I like our o better under Steve anyway and the stats backed it up... We're no better than lower middle of the pack in the SEC in most offensive categories...
A lot of that is due to not having a big time QB, to Guice's injuries, to only having 1 veteran WR and the OL woes. If he had come out slinging 45 passes a game we would have lost more games than we did.
I disagree. Especially when you hear opposing teams talk about how they knew what plays were going to be run before the snap. LSU wasn't nearly as predictable as they have been offensively in recent years.
