Did anyone see Cam Cameron's tweet during the game this weekend against Bama? We had tackled Hurts on the 4th down run and he fumbled but the officials said he was down. Cam tweeted "He wasn't down!". He was wrong about that and ended up deleting the tweet but I thought it was interesting that he was watching the game and still seemingly rooting for LSU.
I think they are both still rooting for their guys and will be until these players leave. He was right though Hurts wasn't down and that fucking idiot should have swallowed his whistle and let the play unfold. You can always come back and look at it.
I'll have to rewatch it but I remember him being down. I think the knee was down as the ball came out. But I agree, I think you let the play finish if it isn't something obvious.
He was down. His knee just touched before the ball came out. They made the right call but you are right they could have allowed it to continue then look at replay. If his knee would not have touched we would have been screwed because the whistle blew.
Everybody roots for the underdog and against the number one ranked team. It's human nature to want to see others not be too successful. It makes "us" envious, insecure, etc.
