Get a smart phone. You can do the same thing standing in line at the store like I'm doing now. Also, ignore phone calls from friends and family that want to talk and/or meet up if they don't interest you as much as LSU sports
To appreciate how big of a compliment this is, Scot Loeffler, now the OC at Virginia Tech, was the college quarterbacks coach for future NFL Draft picks Tom Brady , Tim Tebow , Brian Griese , Chad Henne , Drew Henson and John Navarre . The players have started over 300 regular-season NFL games and garnered a combined four Super Bowl rings as pros.
I can't wait to see how Jennings and Rettig develop under him. Good God almighty! Is it September yet. Bet we run more than 6 or 7 plays on offense now.
Flacco didn't have a 3,000+ yd passing season until Cameron arrived and had one every year under Cameron's coaching. I also wonder what Gunner Kiel must be thinking now. Mama's boy didn't have the chest to win ND's starting QB job and might spend all 4 years riding the pine behind Golson...oh what could have been had he followed through on his commitment to LSU.
I'll take the two QBs we just got over Kiel anyday... they seem ready to want to come in and fight for playing time... Gunner was just a bitch wanting the job handed to him. Well Kiel you reep what you sow. Notre Lame sucks LOL.
I wasn't serious. While I care about LSU, and am interested in its success, I am not consumed by it. I have a "smartphone", by the way, I just find enjoyment engaging my children while in line at a grocery store, and actually like to talk w/family and friends.
Good...but can we keep the topic on Cam now? Because that's why people read the thread...not to hear about other people like you or I
TigerSportsDigest: ... No contract has been signed or official announcement made, but the mere indication (of Cam to LSU) has been enough to send Tiger Nation into a state of delirium. ... Aaron Wilson, who covers the NFL for Fox Sports and the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun , had (this) to say about Cameron, who was fired as the Ravens’ offensive coordinator following a Week 14 loss to the Washington Redskins. ..."Cam is Les’ guy, and I think it’s going to be a really good situation because Les has someone he can trust and someone with a ton of experience – he’s been an NFL head coach, a successful NFL offensive coordinator. “Say what you want about how it ended. He had an argument with John Harbaugh and wasn’t listening to staff input maybe as much as he should have been, and that led to his downfall this year, but he has a lot to do with the Ravens being Super Bowl champions right now. Nobody can ever take that away from him.” As for his X’s and O’s Wilson indicated Cameron, a noted developer of quarterbacks, ... "is a definite disciple of the Don Coryell principles of the old San Diego Chargers. You look back at Cam in his career, and there’s been some West Coast system, some option football. He’s been a versatile coordinator.” On top of his NFL experience ... Cameron has also served as a collegiate head coach, leading Indiana ... It’s Cameron’s stay there, ... coupled with his body of work at Michigan, which lead Wilson to believe he’ll be a more-than-serviceable recruiter for LSU. “He was a good recruiter at Michigan and Indiana,” Wilson said. “He got and helped develop Antwaan Randle El. He’s got a good personality and is friendly. He’s good with parents. He’s a good, trustworthy, Christian kind of guy, and I think that plays real well in the South. He’s charismatic, smart and a good speaker, and he knows how to flatter people.” ...Wilson said he can’t think of a better situation for Cameron, who excels at molding young signal callers and fits right in to the college scene, especially at a place like LSU where there’s no shortage of talent. “When you give him the right personnel, he can kick some butt.” ...
If all he does is make our QBs better and competitive i'll be happy. The QB position has been our achilles heel for several years now.
