    I really don't know much about Cam Cameron and didn't know where he coached but if Cam is short for Cameron and his name is actually Cameron Cameron, then I think he should be disqualified from consideration.

    Ray rice averaged 16.4 touches under Cammeron and 17.1 post Cameron.

    Some of you guys amaze me with these questions......Cam Cameron has been very very succesfull at the HIGHEST level!! I know some people have not heard a whole lot about him...he's not a college coach.....he has made a great living in the nfl doing his job as an OC for the past 10 years.....and is ALWAYS in the top half of top ofenses...why wouldn't you want him.....I would not take ANYONE in college football as an OC over him. His style of coaching would fit LSU great....he's a balanced pro style type guy....believes in pounding the ball but also mixes it up very well.

    Real name is Malcolm. "Cam" is a nickname, which is probably due to his surname.

    I think he is the best for the job, maybe not the most advanced OC today in the US but:
    1) the digit system matches very well with out traditional offense;
    2) the guy has experience coaching at the highest level, match wits with NFL DC's, he knows how to coach;
    3) he knows how to develop QB's;
    4) has CLM's ear, is not someone CLM would double guess;
    5) brings a lot more NFL cred to our recruiting process;
    6) Stud was our OC

    Considering that Les Miles will be LSU HC for as long as he wants (and fans should make peace with it), this is exactly what many wanted. A strong OC with tons of experience and someone our coach may trust. Perfect hire and kudos to The Hat.

    Yeah but there was a stretch in the 2011 season where it's like he forgot he had Ray Rice... I am however admitting this is flawed logic.
