I'M criticizing the coaches and playcalling on offense. I also like to point out the positives. Miles coaches the entire team, most of which is top notch. I don't apologize for Miles. I was pretty upset last night but in the end, Miles' defense and special teams pulled out a win against a ranked team and I'm happy and going to give him credit. Am I worried about the offense? Damn straight.

I guess it's just perception. You know...glass half full...stuff like that?

I normally agree with most things you say.... BUT you can teach kids all you want. until they get out there and do it that is different. Same as raising kids all you can do is teach how they execute as an adult is in themselves. College athletes are the same still kids all the same.

This. And it doesn't make us Sunshine Pumpers, Positigers maybe. This is exactly how I feel. I am upset about the offense. I am excited about the defense and special teams. I am not stupid enough to think the defense and special teams will overcome the offense all the way thru the SEC schedule. I'm very worried about the offense, and hope to God they do something to address it.

JJ is a bad QB. He doesn't know when or who to throw the ball. He locks onto receivers.

Not really. It’s Crowton’s fault, as no QB under Crowton yet since the time he was the head coach and OC of BYU has been able to master his horrible read option spread offense because it can’t be mastered. Now, some people claim that Matt Flynn did a pretty good, but the fact of the matter is that because Matt Flynn was a 5th year senior that had previously spent 4 years under Fisher’s system, Miles made Crowton keep the biggest bulk of Fisher’s offense for the 2007 season, with the exception of the pistol package and a read option passing package.

Hence, Crowton as was predicted at the time he took the LSU job has managed to duplicate at LSU what he duplicated everywhere else, and that is an offense that for the most part is thoroughly dysfunctional. Miles can’t get rid of Crowton fast enough.

Also, ever since Studrawa was hired to be LSU’s offensive line coach, LSU’s offensive lines have been either totally dysfunctional like last year, or only slightly better than totally dysfunctional as this year.

In any event, I would support JL getting a start, not because I think he is a better QB, because I don’t, but because our offense is so dysfunctional it is impossible to win the SEC this year, so let him start because it really doesn’t matter if we win or lose. In any event, judging by all his past performances, I really don’t think he’ll be better than JJ.

les is directly involved with the offense at practice not the defense. thats his baby.

he gets credit for bringing chavis in and letting him coach. same cant be said on offense. he needs to get the f out of the way before its too late.

i know it was fun to think les really knew what he was doing all along. the mad hatter genius and all that. but lets come to reality and see it for what it is. hes a ceo type coach, with not a lot of football smarts, who shouldnt be directly involved with the offense. 3 years of offensive futility speaks for itself. we dont need to make excuses for the guy anymore. hes killing this football teams chances of being its best. and once you admit that, you wont be so offended when others voice their displeasure. its beyond deserved. the ones who are still make excuses are more annoying.
