petersen and kellen moore are the closest thing resembling the new orleans offense in college. moore never gets rattled but probably has none of the measurables--similar to brees. and petersen has a decent defense but hes always going for the jugular like payton. both always seem to be in control of the situation.
If I were an outsider reading this thread I would think these are fans of an 0-4 team with no hope for improvement. Since I'm not an outsider, though, I know this is a team that is undefeated, possibly top 10 with a great defense, great special teams and a decent running game. We are also a team without a top QB which would be a fatal disease but for the rest of the team. This disease cannot be cured but it can be treated, lest the rest of the team become infected. My main complaint is that our doctors seem reluctant to try different treatments when it's apparent the patient is not responding. Luckily, the patient is very healthy and will continue fight off the infection. OK. Enough of the stupid analogy. I think a lot of you drama queens are over the top with your criticisms. Certainly our passing game needs help, but no coach is leaving in mid season and no amount of whining a crying is going to make a difference, except to point out who the immature fans are. One more observation. LSU-SIU only posts on Sundays and only in coach bashing threads. His comments should be dismissed as pathetically one-sided. If someone can find one positive comment from him, I will paypal $25.00 to the Tigerfans.com. If not, everyone has to put him on ignore.
You owe me $25, I have said many times the D is playing good and ST is playing great. I don't know if that is positive or not. Positive thinkers crack me up. Next, SabanFan stops the Earth from rotating with the use of positive thinking. My posts are not bashing, they are obvious observations like Jerry Seinfeld. It is the delusional fanboy like yourself that can't see the wall right in front his face. Your life, I don't live mine like that. If positive thinking won games, the Chicago Cubs would win the pennant every year. Only idiots believe in such foolishness.
About the coaches, but still, I don't think you'll find one. By the way, Ole Miss won handily so there goes your theory.
Correct. That is an example of an extremely well coached team (just the opposite of what you see with LSU). This team's practice sessions must be unreal (and grueling).
If I did owe, it wouldn't be to you. I'm not talking about positive thinking. I'm talking about reality. In your world, every play scores and coaches have statues built in their honor. In the real world, there are 11 guys on the other side who want to win just as badly. In your world, LSU has already lost to Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and Bama. In my world the games have yet to be played.
