A Conversation with Coach Paul Dietzel and Members of the 1958 National Championship Team will be held Friday, Oct. 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes on the LSU campus. Former WBRZ-TV Sports Director Mike Rhodes will moderate as Coach Paul Dietzel and 1958 team members Don ‘Scooter’ Purvis, Lynn LeBlanc, and Gus Kinchen reminisce on-stage about Tiger football and the 1958 National Championship. A brief question and answer session will follow. Dietzel will also be available immediately following the program to autograph his new memoir, CALL ME COACH: A LIFE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL, which will be available for purchase.
