Saban and Miles have played each other twice when both of their teams came off a bye week Miles won each game, in 2010 and 2007. Miles is 2-0 vs. Saban. LSU is the 5 point underdog which should piss them off beyond comprehension being there the #1 team. Still no respect. The pressure is all on Bama. LSU will come in loose and confident with there depth on both sides of the ball and a weapon on special teams with Wing. We run hard and go vertical. Bama's weakness is ST,QB,WR and depth at RB. Our outside ends on D get to McCarron early and often against there big slow lineman. Close early but again and I have said many times in the end depth and speed again allows LSU to pull away in the 4th. LSU wins this one going away. 27-16 :crystal::geaux::tigereye:
16 is close for Bama ... I say LSU hangs 38 on them ... and maybe more LSU 38 - 13 ... (+/-7 points either way)
Whatever Miles is feeding them, it's working. He's got them focused and hungry. He's had them pointed in a straight line towards this game vs Bama since the start of the season, while Saban has been shy to even address the significance of this game.
Will they get to schedule the bye before next year's game or is there some type of rotation they must follow? I'm just wondering.
LSU's schedule will be 8 straight weeks of SEC ball in October & Nov 2012 As for Vegas and those five points, Vegas has lost a ton on LSU this year! They ain't been right all year except a push at Kentucky ... LSU has covered handily all year long ... Those 5 points are $$$ in the bank
A question I have is, LSU wins, especially convincingly, what do the talking heads and detractors say then ? They've always had this game to point to. :helmet:
LSU will never get respect when compared to Saban. They all have blow up dolls of Saban in their rooms. .. can't expect them to talk down about their main squeeze.
after LSU beats Bama they will say what they've been saying all season against every ranked team the Tigers have played. Bama was over ranked blah blah blah. The Tide had an off night blah blah blah. LSU was able to capitalize on Alabama's mistakes blah blah. Mccarron doesn"t have enough experience in big games, etc... LSU will get little if any credit by the majority of the commentators and analysts for a win unless it's a blow out. Vegas will make money and so will I :thumb: plus 2 cases of killians, a 5th of homemade kahlua, my friend having to wear 1 of my LSU hats for the rest of the season and bragging rites for another year. GEAUX TIGERS! BEAT THAT BAMA ARSE!:tigereye:
