    OU Fans Punk OUt.

Tommy Tuberville should be proud and enjoying this signature victory of the first magnitude.

I noticed and was very unfavorably impressed with the manner in which the Okla fans left the game, despite the fact that there was plenty of time left for their team to comeback and win the game.

I'm always hearing how the Sooners never lose at home. If that's the case, their fans didn't seem to have a lot of confidence in their team. That place was empty as Chokelahoma was making a game of it late.

Tubs though made some very questionable calls during that game.
Specifically taking 3 off the board and going for it on 4th. And the fake punt that failed giving OU a very short field.

Exactly. TT won that game in spite of a bunch of dumb moves by Tubs.

That's true! Tubby did make some questionable calls.

OU had not lost at home since 2005, largely because they play in a relatively weak conference. If they were in the SEC, they'd have a lot more home losses.

I don't know about "a lot more". It sounds good at face value but when you look closer, for example, Bama only has one loss at home in the last 3 years. I know, I know, 6 > 3.

LSU had a very bad year in 2008 but looking at the span going back to 2005:

    LSU

    2005....1 loss at home
    2006....0
    2007....1 loss at home
    2008....3
    5009....1 loss at home
    2010....0
2011.... (I expect us to finish without a home loss)

    Florida
    2005....0
    2006....0
    2007....0
    2008....1
    5009....0
    2010....3

Bottom line is that the upper tier SEC teams don't lose a lot at home. In fact I wonder if you can find 2 more Big 12 teams, in addition to OU, with such good home field records.

Did anyone else find this game incredibly difficult to watch? This was the first time I watched an entire OU game this year. In summary, they bleaux.

As other posters have said the best part is shutting bayless the eff up.

Well said...Since I have lived here in Oklahoma. I don't remember hardly any top 10 teams having to come to Norman. Besides they play the Texas game in Dallas every year. Even Texas is a sinking ship compared to the SEC.

He was born and raised in Oklahoma though. I love the guy for the reactions he gets from people. My only complaint of him is that he doesn't know college football well. He doesn't really like the SEC and never gives SEC teams credit, but I love him for everything else.
