WOW....what a game. As a res of Reno, of course I'm a UN fan, BUT my heart is with LSU as an alum. Keep the faith, baby, because if we win tomorow, we are going places. I'm just disappointed that chickens won today. Just remember the one constant, everything changes. Go TIGERS!!!!!!! WE ARE LSU.
I went to bed at half time thinking the game was done. Got up this AM watching Gearz and my 9 year old son comes in and says did you hear what happened to Boise St last night? Wow...but I guess nookie was more important to me last night.
That was an exciting game to watch. There was a lot of great coaching and play on both sides. It was every bit as good as most SEC games, much better than a lot of them have been this season. To everyone complaining about TCU or Boise being ranked higher than big conference teams, too bad. If LSU (or name your favorite BCS school looking up at them in the standings) had handled business at the end of last season instead of stumbling through the end of the season and losing their bowl, and beaten all their opponents this year this wouldn't be a conversation. Imagine if the Tigers had come into the season ranked even at number 15 to start off instead of 21. Where would we be now? If we finish this season off with a win against Arkansas and win our bowl, we can be in a great position to start next season off right and get the respect most of us feel we deserve. Boise finished strong last year and ran through their schedule dismantling all their opponents up until last night. And now they'll pay dearly for losing. As they should. Just like we did last year. And rightly so.
McNeese??? ULM??? North Carolina??? Ole Miss??? La Tech???? Vanderbilt???? Auburn = Loss Alabama blows 24 point lead (the best at that) Face it this LSU team will be playing the bowl they earned and deserve. As I write this it appears bad things on horizon with less than 2 minutes left with Arkansas. Lastly, good and consistent defense does not get burned for 85 yards on last play of half and 4 and 3 TD from 40 yards out.
