as bad as this is gonna sound he may work there. no, pressure down there. plus, it would be miles way of helping find him another job. we can only hope.
UL-L needs someone who can recruit and convince the second tier players in Louisiana to go there... I'd like to see them get a D1-AA or D2 coach who runs the flexbone option offense (like Navy). I think it would allow UL to get some of the smallish runningbacks and quarterbacks in Louisiana.
I have good friends and a college roommate who are coaches there and as much as everyone liked Bustle, it was time for a change. Crowton won't be the coach. They want to have a coach in place by mid December and as much as some would to see Crowton go before the bowl, I do not think that happens. Just my $.02 but as good as the recruits are in the state this year, you have to get someone in sooner than later there to ensure the best possible recruiting class.
