It is only a small excercise in logic. Because Bush knows he has a security detail that will quickly and without hesitation blow the brains out of anyone who would attempt to arrest him. Because Bush knows the American government would quickly and ruthlessly destroy any government that tried to apprehend a former president on trumped up charges. Because Bush knows a strong relationship with America is pretty important to the Swiss and European economies and attempting to apprehend a president would put severe strain on that relationship. Because Bush knows he would be traveling in a diplomatic capacity and would be immune from any prosecution. Because Bush knows the Swiss do not normally extradite criminals. And I could go on and on and on. Are you beginning to understand that there is no possible way Bush could ever fear he would be arrested? Do you understand that it would be national suicide for any government that attempted such a thing. I think you must be joking or something. Good one man.
