Jammal Brown (OT) and Jamar Nesbit (OG) were 30-40 yards downfield blocking for him.

    That was something to behold.

We've said it the last couple weeks, that he was learning how to be patient and follow his blocks instead of outrunning them. It's not too often you see linemen that far downfield still throwing blocks. That was a beautiful run after the catch.

Earlier in the game he followed right up Stinchcomb's back for a beautiful 15 yard gain as well on a pass out in the flat.

The Saints O-line is very much underrated. I would put this O-line up there in the top 5 in the league right now. Jammal Brown and Jeff Faine deserve to go to the Pro Bowl. Jahri Evans deserves rookie of the year award consideration as well.

I been sayin it all year, once Bush learns to be more patient and not try to hit the homerun every time, he will be unstoppable. Funny thing is, by being patient he has a better chance of hitting the homerun. Now we will see what we saw at USC the last 3 yrs. I feel sorry for the rest of the league. What am I saying....Hell No I Don't!!!!!!!!

I think as well as the Saints were playing early in the year (5-1 start), you still felt that unless Bush could get going this team would compete for a playoff spot but maybe nothing more.

Now that he is unleashed, now that he presents a major problem every time they line him up on the field, the Saints success THIS season is unlimited.

that was the first thing that came to my mind is it may be the first play he actually let fully develop. he waited for the blockers finally, albeit he was fighting it the whole way as he was pushing the guy in the back to keep from passing him up.

after about week 4 it was painfully obvious he was pressing too much. he's like tack minor in the backfield. faster than everyone on the court/field yet needs to tell himself wait, wait, wait. no wait some more. But when the lights come on and the ball gets in their hand, they cant fight it and go. i said deuce may be able to help him which looks like according to last night, is happening. good to see.

if you watch prior to that you will see the play was a designed pick play by the tight end which frees him up. certainly a play payton was designing on a napkin the night before the draft. "right between the minestrone and the redfish."

loved it when Al Micheals said Payton got lost when showing Drew Brees the city. Classic!
