Is there going to be a Burn Bama bonfine Friday night? I heard this on local radio. Something about how Saban stuff will be burned that night. First, is this true? If so your thoughts on this? Seems a little over the top to me... :huh:

Did it last year. just a little bonfire. then we throw a dummy with a bama sweatshirt in the fire....then we all form a circle...and chant some cult stuff...then we sacrafice a baby goat and a child...you know, all in good fun
it's just one of those new condos outside of campus doing a promotional stunt. Sounds like a bunch of jackasses to me...
Yeh I heard nothing. But Bon Fires are actually very common. A&M does them before the Texas Game every year and in High School I think we had 3 or 4 a year. I wouldnt take it as something vicious if it does happen. Pre game Bon Fires are Pep rallies Heck they even had a Bon Fire in the Movie Grease at their Pep Rally.

No I dont think either of those... Bama had something like that here when Fran bolted. I thought it was childish actually. Lots of Bama fans too did but you did have those who just couldn't get over it and move on. I still dont understand why most LSU fans just deeply hate him. Dolphins fans have a legit argument there but Saban wasn't generally hated by LSU fans until he was named HC at Alabama.
