I think it would help Bama more if it came from a player of significance. I do agree Peterson should shut up.
I personally think that “bulletin board material” is a little over blown. Our coaches did it in high school and what was said and placed on the board was the last thing I was thinking about on the field. I guess the guys on their level may have bigger egos and therefore perhaps this helps pump them up...though I would think playing for a national title shot would be enough.
He is absaloutley right.....they are best maybe against the run but not the pass in zone coverage..they usually bite really hard on play action.
D-Lo just setting up the decoy. He has had a significant hand injury since the MSU game and the reason he hasn't been targeted much. I think we saw the 1st target in against Auburn in some time.
Hmmm... So, as to what was alluded to earlier in this thread, perhaps CLM has put D-Lo up to this to give Bama something to think about that may not even be relevant. :geauxtige
:hihi: I expect the unexpected, this is on national tv and a big game to boot! I love it! We have plenty of weapons for the linebackers to have to cover!:tigereye:
Damn, that would be masterful, masterful gamesmanship. Not that we'd expect anything less from Miles, but this would be taking it to a whole other level. I get the feeling that he and KradDrawa are on the same page when it comes to this sort of thing. The play-calling, while largely simple, has been very clever so far if you play close attention. Been thinking lately that a lot of what we've seen this season up to now was setting things up for this game.
I had thought of this but I doubt any self respecting coach would make any player of his a target. If a coach is using his players in such a way I wouldnt have any respect for him. Not that my opinion matters much, just saying.
