Missed calls are not what held us to ~125 yards total. I was yelling from my seat just as bad because I don't like to see a team getting help when they certainly don't need it. BUT as others have said numerous times on this board since Saturday night, even if the game was indeed called perfectly down the middle, we still lose. The sad fact of the matter is the same as it always is when there are questionable calls... If our offense would have taken care of business, we wouldn't have had to worry about the calls. Bama's strategy is simple vs. LSU... Sell out to the run, make them beat you with a QB. Until we can do that, they will continue to win.
@TerryP I'm not sure what the meaning of this post is. I remember doing some jawing with you in the game thread but don't remember exactly what I said. Nonetheless, congrats on the win. I'm actually at peace with the loss cause after the Auburn game I figured Bama would run through us like grass through a goose. Probably would've been 0-40 had Coach Oeaux taken over and done all he can in the time he's had. If nothing else, re-energized the fan base and the players. I wish I could say good luck down the road, and mean it, cock sucker. @TUSKtimes same to you on the congrats.
All you people hanging this on the officials, puleez. The 3 holding on touchdown was obviously huge but we had our chances and didn't capitalize. Missed some "easy" passes and got us in trouble with down & distance. Our defense hung their balls out, did more than enough to put us in a position to win. If we can't score a point, we don't deserve to win. Among other things, I never understood how Miles, being a lineman, has had so much trouble with line play over the years. I agree with shane, our Oline killed us. Bama's Dline is tremendous, too. It was twofold and it showed. I don't think our QB's mental timer ever got in sync. When he dropped back he either had to throw, or run RIGHT away. He couldn't move the pocket like he likes to, they're too fast. Our DC is a keeper. What a great plan he came in with.
Who is hanging it all on the officials besides 1 person. Everyone is simply discussing the usual shitty refs in any close game involving Alabama. Jesus Christ.
If all of the calls would have been made correctly the game would have come down to overtime and maybe the best kicker would have won the game, but we'll never know.
And of course there's the resident Alabama dudes acting like they have no idea what anyone in the entire universe except them knows. LSU lost, LSU would have lost anyway but Bama privilege is real and it's been real. Regardless what Tusk and Tweedle Dumb have to say .
Many people I ran across since the game, the OP, and whoever the phuck else. Had I wanted to call anyone out I would've quoted them but there was more than one in this thread.
You are a fool for even mentioning defense. As far as our offense well a thrown together game plan with a new head coach and an OC who has a grand total of 3 games under his belt having to play against Bama? Very proud of our Tigers Sat. You get a Scarecrow and an Alfred
I hope no one thinks I'm hanging the loss on the zebras. I'm not. We could have played 3 games and not scored. What I am saying is that TWO critical plays on Alabama's TD drive were gifts from the mafia. Devin White's penalty for the so called hit out of bounds gave them a first down they didn't earn. Hurts TD run was on the same drive. That my friends is what I call the refs influencing the game. Truth is I expect the gumps would have scored eventually and we could have only done so on a NOT.
agreed. My beef is this fuckers dont need the help. They claim they are the best freaking team ever yet it seems year after year they keep getting this biased love. It is just a little frustrating feeling like you have to beat them and the zebras. I agree with the above post. We might not have won we might not have scored but I feel like if you guys win then win clean. The calls that ended up costing the game were almost all questionable. To me if anything the SEC should nip this crap in the butt as it puts a big black eye the conference.
