Florida and LSU will take care of this opinion of yours. Really, the SEC has a great chance to show what it can do during bowl season. Oh, and BuckeyePlanet.com sucks.
Thanks for showing your true colors there at the end. And you're right about his opinion on the SEC. Anyone that thinks the SEC is overrated hasn't a clue about college football.
osu's home stadium, indoor field & 1 practice field... all field turf. Is the Sportexe stuff really that different? I would hope Florida would destroy UM, they've been shredded by every good (mobile) spread attack they've faced. Anything less than a 17 pt win is a bit of a disappointment for them. I think the SEC is very strong. I think it's a bit overrated by the always hyperbolic media, but like their last darling (USC), that doesn't mean they aren't still very tough.
wadc banned me in the Joseph Barksdale recruiting thread when I posted that he was spotted on campus. Sorry, but that will forever sour my opinion of the forums. Much like TideFans.com.
What kind of turf do yall have? I will do some research on it when I get a chance. However, I do know that the new turf used in the dome is far greater than the field turf they had before.
Well, I give you guys this much, at least somebody up there had enough sac to get one. (A conference playoff). Unlike some "other" conferences. And I agree that just one school can't do much about improving any conference. For quite a while FSU was the only thing worth a crap in the ACC. Even now its a roller coaster ride over there. The Big 10 has some promise on the horizon, with you guys, Illinois making a move and the advent of a new coach at Mich. But these things take time. In my opinion theres more of a balance in the SEC (granted with a couple of exceptions), but by and large anybody can beat anybody in this conference, given the right conditions. The Big 10 still has a way to go until it achieves that volume of quality teams and players and a balance of sorts between them. Thats exactly why folks for years have said "top to bottom", the SEC is the toughest conference in the country. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
