You know the Big 10 has a winning record against the SEC in the Bowls over the past 7 years (going back to 2000, didn't bother to go past that). Is the Big 10 down a little bit this year, sure they are slightly. But the SEC isn't as dominate as many like to think it is either.
New to the board--hopefully I can add some perspective to the debates since I live in SEC country and follow the SEC and the Bucks.... Unfortunately, the pushback y'all are getting from the OSU fans is two-fold: Sensitivity to the media from last year's game/2007 schedule and ignorance (lack of watching LSU/SEC games)...With that said, anyone going on the aforementioned boards to rub salt in those "wounds" will be labeled as flamers and get a rude response....Those boards genuinely welcome honest debate based on some objective facts, not emotion (like the SEC is great cuz we said so....) and will appreciate learning about the Bayou Bengals and you're storied history (e.g. Billy Cannon, 1958)..... I look forward to some good discussions, I root for OSU, but appreciate what LSU brings to the table.....
Just spent about 3 hours lurking and reading at the BP forum and was very impressed. I only posted once just introducing myself. Spent most of it reading a thread about their opinion of LSU and for the most part they were very complimentary. They were very appreciative in a thread about where to eat, sleep, sight see etc. in New Orleans. Oh, you can use any language you like and you don't have to misspell it as long as it isn't directed at anyone. :hihi:

Howdy, folks! I've been enjoying the LSU traffic on BuckeyePlanet and RecruitingPlanet, and just wanted to pop over to say hello and check out the board. Looking forward to the game in a big way. What was predicted to be a rebuilding year should end with a good test... I'd say an NC game with LSU qualifies nicely. :grin: I know OSU has the personnel and coaching to win against anyone. I imagine LSU does as well, so much depends on what happens between now and the game... much too long a wait, isn't it? We use the same platform (slightly newer version), so yes. That's odd. Your account looks fine. Maybe clear cache and make sure "remember me" is checked if you can log in once?

How about the argument that LSU beat more teams that finished in the FINAL BCS poll than any other team. We beat 4, including VATECH who finished third, and a team in Florida you may have heard of.
