Nobody said that LSU doesn't have the talent to win another SEC crown.
But LSU is one of about 6 teams in the SEC this year that will be a top 25 team and also one of about 6 teams that would be capable of beating anyone in the country on any given day.

Georgia also happens to be one of those teams that is capable of beating down any team in the country on any given day.

*Georgia has ended the season ranked in the top 25 for ten straight years.

Georgia has only played tOSU once.
It was Herbstreit's last game as a senior and he walked off of that field as a loser to Georgia.

I think we may be getting a little confident if you think that there are 6 teams that are better than every other team in the country. I know you're saying capable of, but that's a cop out from saying you think they're better than...

edit: For example, WVU showed in their bowl that they are good enough to embarrass just about anyone in the country, with the exception of Pitt. That's exactly my point about GA, you have to be able to get mentally up for every game, knowing that you're going to get everyone's best shot. They didn't do that last year, granted it was early, so we'll see if they've gotten over that, but they also didn't have the bullseye they will have this year. I'm not saying they're not good, just that i'm not convinced they'll be undefeated and or SEC champs and playing in Miami.

As for Herbie, I remember that game and was excited after Garrison Hearst was drafted by the niners, as I was really impressed with him in that game, and though i'm not a niners fan, at that time I was still young enough to be in amazement of that team and what Hearst could bring to them. By the way, those were the cooper years, and I've taken more lumps for being a fan through those years than any other point in my life as a buckeye. (granted that's the bulk of it). thus the chip on our shoulders, something you should bear in mind when taking pot shots. and for the record, it seems like Herbie's done OK for himself, despite ***gasp*** losing a football game :thumb:
